A sober coach is a trained professional who provides personalized support and guidance to individuals seeking to maintain sobriety or navigate early recovery stages. Their role extends beyond traditional therapy or counseling, as they actively engage with clients and assist them in various aspects of their lives.
Choosing a sober coach is an important decision that should be made with careful consideration. Starting your recovery journey and starting a new phase in life are very personal experiences and should be shared with someone you trust and feel comfortable being honest with. Here are some steps to help you choose the right sober coach for you.
Your life's journey is unique and so should your approach to recovery. At the Bella Grayce Co, we work closely with clients to set personalized goals for their recovery journey, focusing on achievable and measurable milestones, accountability and monitoring progress, relapse prevention strategies, emotional support, lifestyle and habit modification, mindfulness and stress reduction techniques, and by utilizing a holistic approach that takes mind, body, and over-all wellbeing into account.
Each coaching agreement starts with a complentary consultation call to help set the vision for our work together. We discuss where you are and where you want to be. Each session after that is geared towards getting one step closer to living the life you dream of, sober, happy, healthy, and whole.
At the Bella Grayce Coaching, we understand the importance of trust and professionalism. We pride ourselves in providing lasting change for our clients. All of our packages include 6 weeks of coaching to ensure ample time to achieve your goals. We offer two packages starting at $100 weekly with varying options for accountability and monitoring.
What Our Clients Say
Rebounding from relapse
"Teresa was helping me to learn to live a sober life while rebuilding the life drugs and alcohol had stolen from me. I was very shaky in my recovery. I relapsed while I was working with Teresa. Instead of shaming me, she persistently reached out to me until I came back. We worked out a plan, I was able to admit my relapse to my boss, and keep my job. If it weren't for Teresa's coaching, I would have spent weeks spiraling out of control after my relapse but instead, I picked myself up and got back on the horse."
From 2 bottles of wine a night to none
"I started working with Teresa about a year ago. At the time, I was drinking 2 bottles of wine a night and really just wanted to cut back. Teresa helped me get down to 3 glasses a week and finally to none. Together, we are now working to transition me to the next phase of life. She doesn't sugar coat it, she tells it like it is."
30 year sober but struggling with feeling fulfilled
"I started working with Teresa because I knew she would be a great fit for me. She has helped me devise a plan for how to start feeling joy again. I no longer feel rage, frustration, and overwhelm by small issues becuase I am incorporating joy and fun into my everyday life."
The Bella Grayce Co was born out of my own experiences. By the time I graduated high school, I was a daily methamphedine user. I was using drugs and alcohol to cope with the experiences during my high school years that were too difficult for my young mind to process. I was living with the daily shame, guilt, and broken self-image that resulted from an abortion, sexual, mental, and physical abuse, attempted suicide, and being shunned by my fraternal grandparents after the death of my father. At the age of 20, I was finally able to maintain sobriety. I have been sober from drugs since December 2, 2005.
